the receptionist was friendly. rooms were clean warm and comfortable. it was very handy to get back onto the motorway to continue my journey. this was a bonus this time of year
i noticed the room lacked usb sockets. i borrowed a mains charger from reception but it did not work. it was not ideal as i was going to the airport following morning and had to go approximately 3 miles in the wrong direction.

the staff was friendly and efficient at check-in. my room was clean and tidy upon arrival. i found having a shop attached to the hotel very convenient. the location suited my travel needs well.
the noise from nearby traffic was noticeable, but i was still able to rest.

there was an awful smell in the room! it smelled like a stale damp mop. the receptionist didn't comment when i told them. i had to ask for toilet roll because there wasn't any.
